birrificio birra italian grape

Antiga

Typology

High fermentation Italian Grape

Colour

Features a deep ruby red shade and a fine and persistent foam.

Smell

Recalls red fruits with a light scent of grape.

Taste

The taste of grape is perceptible on the palate without overpowering the sick notes. Hop is delicately present and is non-invasive. Finally, an acidic note strengthens the drink.

Description

Antiga belongs to the only certified Italian beer label, the Italian Grape Ale or IGA. IGAs are high-fermented beers in which raw materials can be used, including grapes or grape must and derivatives such as sapa, a cooked must.

In our recipe we preferred to use sapa from cannonau grapes, thus giving our beer a more territorial character by linking two apparently distant worlds that are nevertheless linked by the antiquity of their roots.
